Jon Lough (pronounced “Lock”) was born and raised in Schroon Lake, New York where his parents are involved in the ministry of Word of Life Fellowship. Constant exposure to the Bible and the Gospel eventually led Jon to believe in Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of 7. As a young teen, the Lord took away one of Jon’s obsessions through a knee injury: baseball. But as a result of that time, he found music to be a much bigger passion than baseball. After high school, he attended the Word of Life Bible Institute where he not only learned more about God, but also further developed his passion for music and people. His interest in music allowed him to tour with Word of Life Redemption (now Revive) for a year after attending the Bible Institute. While that year advanced Jon’s ability to play, sing, and perform, it also increased his desire for ministry. He eventually went on to Cedarville University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication and a Minor in Music and Worship. Now, he is a student at DTS working towards his Master of Theology and is excited to serve as the Director of Praise and Worship at Centerpoint Church. In his free time, he loves to play all kinds of sports, hang out with people, play music, find any kind of nature in Dallas, and of course, do school work.
