We live in a world of self-exaltation…a world that strives for power, that strives to be first. Unfortunately, our bent is to put ourselves and our own interests above others. But we pledge and declare our allegiance to a Savior that modeled something very different for us. In Philippians 2:6-11 we read that rather than self-exaltation, Jesus modeled extreme humility. How ought we to respond to our servant leader?
