Expecting one thing and getting another can be a huge disappointment. Our hopes in the latest phone, the newest car, and the closest relationships are often dashed against the rocks of failed expectations. Sometimes this even happens with Jesus. We expect one thing, and to our disappointment he doesn’t seem to come through for us. This morning, we’ll explore this reality, God’s challenge to us, and what our response should be. We are in Matthew 11:2-30.
