We live in a world stained by sin, and the effects are devastating. Tragedies abound, death and disease are ever-present, and we often feel as though life is ready to spiral out of control. Yet our text reminds us that God’s people can have a sure hope–no matter what suffering we may experience in this life–because of the glorious future that awaits us. Romans 8:18—25
