Having just received the news of John’s death, Jesus’ disciples were in need of a reminder as to why they should stay loyal to Him. In our passage today, a scene unfolds giving two compelling reasons to remain steadfast. These motives should be encouraging for us as disciples of Jesus to stay the course and follow him with all we’ve got. Matthew 14:13-21
