What distinguishes a true disciple of Jesus from a fake disciple? Jesus can attract quite a following. Some of His quotations are great for bumper stickers and refrigerator magnets. If you are single, hanging around Jesus followers may net you a kind, loving spouse. Your kids will probably be safe if they get their friends from the church. Such things attract many “disciples.” But true, authentic disciples have a distinction that sets them apart. We find that distinction in John 6. John 6:60–71
