VBS is Back Again at CENTERPOINT CHURCH!

On August 1st-4th, Galactic Blast VBS at Centerpoint Church will take you into outer space praising God all along the way!

Galactic Blast VBS is not your typical space mission. Kids will see space like never before as they gain a new perspective of our Creator and learn to praise Him through this journey. They will do this through rockin’ contemporary music, larger-than-life recreation games, cool crafts, and fun, exciting Bible stories.Galactic-Blast-Logo-LR

Mission #2 — OUR GOD IS INCREDIBLE!

We are constantly in need of toiletry items for the homeless (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, brushes, etc.). Bring them anytime and drop them off in the basket in the hall.

You can help the DPRC by recycling your old cell phones and used ink cartridges. Simply bring them to Centerpoint and drop them in one of the baskets at the Information Center.

A thorough physical exam always includes a timing of the pulse and a stethoscope to the chest. Clearly, one’s heart condition is critical to good health in this life. Like that physical heartbeat, our spiritual heartbeat is equally critical to a healthy life. During the first 4 months of 2009, we want to check up on our heartbeat for God’s Kingdom. We won’t use stethoscopes and stop watches, but we will see how our heartbeat measures up to the standards of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. We will be challenged to develop a heartbeat for the future kingdom that is evident in our present daily life. Throughout the series, we will examine our internal values and our external actions. You will want to check your heartbeat with us every week!
