The Nakahara Family

Michiya and Tomoko Nakahara minister in Shizuoka City, Japan, faithfully continuing the ministry of his parents. Michiya is currently taking English classes so he will be ready for the summer trip to the United States. Kazuma will travel with him. Tomoko will remain in Japan since there she is a teacher in a year-round school system. Their ministry is always challenging because of the spiritual darkness in Japan. They keep busy with ministry and with two active boys.

Missionary Moment: the Landrum Family

Friday, January 2nd, 2009

Craig and Brenda celebrated Christmas week with a medical caravan trip. It was a great outreach to Mexican Indians through doctors/dentists who offered their services for free. The participating youth were excited about the ministry and want to return. Craig mentions that over 1,000 people were treated and heard the Gospel. The Landrums pray that those who heard will accept the Lord and those who did accept Christ will grow spiritually. All the teens evangelized as people waited in line to see the doctors. Brenda did translation in pre-op and Craig did translation and line evangelism. Prayer: the Lord will raise up godly Elders for the church plant, and wisdom in starting a new church plant on the north side of the city.
